Default My 9yo Son Scores (pics)

We were hunting the youth doe-only rifle weekend upstate and my boy took this 160lb doe. 60 yard, quartering shot. 30-06 off the shooting stick. Right behind the shoulder.

Yeah, he soaks up recoil like a tree stump He started shooting a 308 Win at 6 years old. His limit is a 300 Win Mag. He shot that 3 times but I told him no more. He could try it, but I don't want him to develop a flinch,

Thanks everyone. We've always hung our deer head up. Let's the body cavity drain. It also keeps bears from destroying a potential mount.
