We were hunting the youth doe-only rifle weekend upstate and my boy took this 160lb doe. 60 yard, quartering shot. 30-06 off the shooting stick. Right behind the shoulder.

my 8 y/o daughter just proved she's ready by deliverin a 3 shot group with a 64g .223..she is way stoked and ready to go...she is even prouder that she beat her sis to the punch by 1 year..(she was 9 her 1st time too)...that aint sayin she is gonna bag one, but she is just glad to be 1st chair this year. wish us luck this weekend.

Yeah, he soaks up recoil like a tree stump :D He started shooting a 308 Win at 6 years old. His limit is a 300 Win Mag. He shot that 3 times but I told him no more. He could try it, but I don't want him to develop a flinch,
