Default Buying a gun on-line ????

Not realy sure where to ask ...
I am considering buying a pistol online from buds ...
Says free shipping and they have very good prices .
I realize I,d have to pay the tranition fee to my local dealer but was wondering if I have to also pay tax living in another State ?
Anyone with experiance with purchasing a pistol online ?
Good or bad experiances .. Thanks

I've ordered several times from Buds, never a problem other than slow processing time once.
I've never had to pay state sales tax only my FFL fee.
their prices reflect cash/check payment, Credit card is an additional 3% I think

I think buds is great, have ordered from them several times. contact a gun shop nearby first to get their procedure for ffl transfer.

ive bought and sold several guns online. The only time you would pay sales tax would be if the seller was in your state, then they are supposed to collect it. For the most part you are supposed to pay sales taxes on all the items you buy, either where you buy it or where you live.......most states have a form you fill out with your state income tax return where you do this, its basically the honor system though, so nobody does lol.
