X 1,000! Almost as important as your arrows when bowhunting early season.

I can't believe everyone hasn't heard of Thermacell by now. Must be living under a rock. It's the best small investment you'll ever make. I don't think I'll have to worry about using anything this Fall. It's been so dry, there are hardly any mosquitoes around on my place, but I have my Thermacells ready just in case. My advice to you is to go get one now. You'll be glad you did.

Thanks for all the input. I went to my local shop and they were sold out! Went to local BPS...sold out. More comming in tomorrow. Tried the $9 off thing just for kicks. Don't waste your money. Hell I even waved the damn thing at the bugs and they just flew past it to bite me. I'm going to get a TC tomorow...I hope.

OFF! makes a clipon that works very well. The clipon runs on batteries emitts no odor and is not a heat generated unit like a Thermacell is.

It will last better than 14 hrs. - give you the 15 ft radius and is refillable via the wafer replacement.

Just another option

I bought a thermocell last year but never had to use it .
The darn little blood suckers have never been as bad as they are here now .
Its been unseasonably warm and VERY WET last month or so and they are thriving .
Cant even work in my garage without getting bit multiple times even using off, or skin so soft .
I was told listerine works ??
Cant believe I didnt think to try my T C out yet ..
Will be soon .

X10.......Only thing I don't like is the expense associated with the refills.
