Default Question regarding night vision.....

Pops and I are interested in possibly purchasing a pair of night vision wear. Does anyone know the best place to look and roughly how expensive? Obviously, we want the night vision for observing purposes on our farm in the deep south. I use a game camera & get some good photos, but would love to sit in a stand over one of our food plots to watch those boys after dark.

Any advice appreciated.

Cabela' s has a number of binoculars and monoculars in their catalog. A nice looking pair of Night Owls binoculars are on sale now for $399, but the high quality ones will run $1500 or better.

Are you in Sweetwater, Al.? Welcome to the board.

The current Sportsmans Guide catalog has a good selection of night vision devices in a variety of prices . Avoid Gen 1 devices , they cost less for a reason .

The Generation 3 type is the best currently available to civilians.
The military has access stuff that is 40% better than what we can get, but it' s still pretty impressive.
