Sort of getting over it. I guess I'm not as mad at them as I use to be. Didn't shoot but 5 this year.

You might be obsessed with Deer, and Deer Hunting,
If you notice that your wife has taken your children, and moved out.
And you hadn't notced she has been gone for over 2 to 3 months.
Then you Miiiiiight be obsessed with Deer and Deer Hunting.

Fanatic!! I live all year to deer hunt!

I'm definetly an A (Fanatic)...I use to just get ready and go the week of Deer Season....now I start Bow Hunting in Sept,then pause for the 11 days of Rifle season and hunt those 11 days..then start back into Bow Season until Jan. 15...then I'm Predator/Coyote Hunting....Spring planting food plots...checking trail camera's...chasing after Coyotes again,then fall Food Plot planting and getting ready for Deer Season again...Yeehaw!!!!!!

I think I'm Normal but Hooked for sure. But about a month out I may come close to being a Fanatic again because I get Deer on the brain so bad I find myself very distracted from the everyday task of life. I find some relief at this time of the year by shed hunting and checking out deer movement and other sign to determine the overall population in my hunting areas.
I saw over 22 deer a couple of weeks ago and a bunch of turkey while shed hunting with a friend,so that was encouraging. Will get after the turkeys in a month or so here in Indiana to get my hunting face back on for a few weeks.

I know I'm obssesed, and it gets worse with every big buck I kill, like gas on a fire man! Actually it doesn't matter if I kill a nice buck, if I get a shooter on the Cuddy I'm all giddy. For sure I am a Fanatic. Don't get me wrong, I take out 3-4 doe's a year for meat on the table, but when it comes to big bucks I got it BAD!
