So, 28 years old, took my hunter Safety Course this year with my son, but he cannot hunt til next year.... And never got my buck! I was so excited to get one this year since my husband has been hunting for the last 16 years. I am not impressed with the hunters who have to drive down every tree line, etc to look for deer, no wonder they are soo skiddish. And to those hunters who chase deer and shoot from their vehicle, shame on you! I am hoping I never got my deer cause it was meant to be to shoot one with my son but man alive, all that driving/scouting for deer and NOTHING! I wish every hunter that is stupid out there would retake their course and do things a little more legally!~ Just my rant! LOL!

LOL, thats why they call it hunting and not shooting. Most of us understand your frustration. Keep putting in the time and your day will soon come. Best of luck to you and your son next year!

Yea still no deer here gets frusterating but i know it will pay off eventually. I know someone who didnt shoot his first buck until he was in his 30's but his first buck scored about 168 something to wait for. im hoping to schwack one during late bow season myself.

but ya then again I hold out for trophies, maybe I shouldn't but then again I wouldn't be happy taking a dink, I do take a doe for meat/management.
