deer can actually see a bunch of colors... they just don' t look the same...red looks yellow... and camo looks blue...and i think blaze orange is red... not sure... they can also see purple... don' t know why' d u' d wear that deer hunting though... les ur a viking fan...

Many of your reasons are valid but, ultraviolet light is real! So is wearing a solid color. By the way, I have worn camo ever since I started deer hunting....namely army camo at first then Trebark.

I think that alot of people wear there camo' s for gun deer season is because alot of them hunt other animals also Predator,Duck,Turkey,etc.. So they use them for Deer also. I dont like to tear up my Jeans or other clothing. I also Predator hunt.
They are coming up with more and more info on what and how the deer can see.
I am not worried about it when it comes to deer, since I believe that deer is not one of my hardest animals to hunt, in the list after, Predator hunting,Turkey,and hogs without dogs I think is harder.
The 3-D glow in the dark camo I would not have.

Until some deer walks up to me and tells me he is color blind, I' m wearing camo.
Here in Maine you don' t have to wear orange during the bow season, just for gun hunting.

Because if you wore just plain blaze orange a deer would think" MY MY MY what is that big thing over there. You would be as a solid color to A deer. I wear blaze
orange coveralls, but they are mixed with camo. sorta like the background is orange.
