I use the can call, and have had mixed success. The first time I used it a large 8 point buck came into me. That being said, once he was in the field eating, he didn't seem to come any closer with me using it or be paying any attention to it. I've since tried to use it several times and never called a deer in with it. In fact most times when I see deer are when I'm not using it. I've got two friends that have had the same experiences as me with other calls. It seems like if we see deer it's just that we are going to see them and doesn't seem to have anything to do with a call. Then there are other guys I hunt with that swear a their grunt calls work great. So who knows.

Take an old long steve shirt and cut off the sleve then sow the bottom together. Take an old broom and cut the handle in 6 to 7 inch long pieces put several in the sleve bag sow up the top and you have yourself a rattling bag. This is a tip from a magizine I just read but escapes me for some reason. anyway a good cheep Idea.

good luck.
