I park my four-wheeler about 200 yards from where I hunt. I leave it parked in a field and then I walk through the woods (thick stuff) for a ways to my stand... Last year I actually slightly spooked a nice buck with my four wheeler when driving up through the field. However, it must not have been too scared cuz it ran about 50 yards and stopped. The moonlight left enough light for me to still see him so I just turned off the four wheeler and waited until there was enough light to shoot and bam... Ended my day before ever making it to the stand. I don't think the ATV's are that big of a deal, as long as you dont park right under your stand...
