saw scrape, what to do?

saw scrape, what to do?
This past weekend my dad and I saw a scrape in the woods, but on an old truck path. What should I do? Should i spray some kind of deer urine on it? The rut hasnt started yet or atleast I think it is too early so doe in estrous will spook him, right? Also, when do bucks usually check scrapes and how often?

When I 1st started, I hunted scrapes and found that the ones out in the open to just be random or if they were checked, to be at night. A scrape line would be better.
Also if your on public land ya got to be sure it's not a mock scrape by another hunter. Just want ya to maximize your time out.
