I've used Mr Buddy for years and it is worth it. Never had a problem getting a deer. I've froze my tail off for many years. Now I have a chance to hunt smarter and longer.

To keep your feet and hands warm you must keep your core warm first. Proper layering of clothing and some food every hour or so will help ( protein works well. PBJ, Turkey etc). Keep your head and neck very warm.
If you do not keep your core warm, your body will try and keep that warm first and sacrifice the extremities

Feet
A good PAC style boot of 1000g insulation or better. Buy it a full size big. Wear a polypropylene liner and a good thick wool sock (look for 85% wool or better) Use 2 pair if necessary.
Once you get to stand you can use the toe warmers inside your boot (there are ones specific to the toes that do not require the same airflow as the hand warmers). If you put them on prior to hiking out your feet may sweat. BTW, get some unscented spray deodorant and spray it on your feet so they do not sweat anyway.

Hands
My best advice here is to get a good hand muff. place a couple of hand warmers inside the muff. Wear a medium weight glove that you can take in and out of the hand muff easily. I have not found too many gloves that will keep me warm all day in 0 degree weather but a hand muff will do it every time.
