Default score this buck (I know... another one)

This is a Kentucky buck that is posted on a local forum I visit. This is not a buck that I have on camera.

Just want to see if I am far off with my guess.

Thinking this guy still has a little growing to do from when these pics were taken back in the middle of August I'm saying this buck will easily gross 180 and think it will push 200 gross. What do you guys say?

Sorry too big to score. Shoot him and let us know. No need to pass this one up. That's a great buck. Good luck!

I really hate scoring velvet bucks. I always over estimate because of mass. In hard bone I'm usually only 5-7 inches off. I have him in the 180's. I don't think he will make 200".

Nice buck, but like 2Lunger said it is hard to estimate velvet bucks. I think you are high on the 180 guess. I would think net score of 165 or less is closer. Only one way to find out, shoot him.....

175 - low 180's. Not sure he has the tine length to make the 180's and I think it will depend on how much mass he has under that velvet. He is definitely a shooter. Awesome buck.

Always hard with velvet still on, but I know he is a shooter for me.

I would say 160's

I don't post much but I can tell you its bigger than 160. I shot a 161 inch deer. i would say 180 maybe 190.
