All right guys funds have fell through on the pro hunter and the sniper for our sheriff dept has given me first dibs on his rifle ( he is building a new one.) so has anybody used a 6.8 spc for deer? I know there are better rounds and I have them however I want something short and light and I think I can get an upper for my ar for about 4-500. Any thoughts? I would use it for 150 yards and in mostly a woods gun

6.8 is good to go for deer out to 300 yards. I will be using it this year.
