Don't forget that the trophy where you hunt, may not be a trophy to someone else. Genes and life expectancy play a large role in buck size & dominance.

If you have trail cams out, scout, & hunt enough, and you do not see any trophy bucks there is two possibilities:
A.) The trophy size you desire isn't realistic for the area you hunt, due to pressure,genes, etc. or
B.) You need more experience hunting mature whitetails.

Take the deer you feel are trophies. Who cares if a 115-125 isn't acceptable in Illinois or Iowa, or even AL. If they're a trophy to you take'em, just try to continue to work your way up. Good Luck & Safe Hunting!
