Get the bow. I recently bought a bow and just finally got around to shooting it. It is fun to go outside for a while and shoot. It gives me something to do when I get bored. Really can't do that with a camera. You don't NEED a camera to hunt. You need a bow to hunt.

CAUTION: ARCHERY CAN CONSUME YOUR LIFE AS YOU KNOW IT!!!!
Hunting seasons in spring and fall--up to 120 days worth!!
Target and 3D shoots from December to September, two on the same weekend if they are close enough together, sometimes even when they aren't really. Some great excuses to travel to some weird places you would never otherwise go in a million years.
Tons of new toys to buy, cuz they are better.
Tens of thousands of arrows to be shot in a year for practice to be able to hit dimes at any range without a rangefinder (but you will own one)
Strings and cables to be changed because yours are worn out or have stretched .001"
About a million types of arrow and broadhead and fletch and fieldpoint and nock types to try, cuz the newest one is better.
Treestands, ropes, hooks, climbing pegs, climbing stands, boot muffs, Scentlok clothing in every camo pattern imaginable.
Did I mention the women? the Form!!!!
Plenty of "archery" politics to discuss (argue), equipt discussions(ARGUMENTS),people of all sorts, kind of a strange bunch, they are all addicts( Most come across as relatively sane, but, there is always that question???)
