Default Take a kid hunting! I did!

Just like ever year I make time to get someone in the woods for there first deer.

Took a disabled vet earlier this year and now this 15yr old.


Gus is a single parent kid with MOM.

He had a blast but not as much as I did. He did good and got to see quite a few deer before getting this smaller one. He wasnt going to wait for larger one and I dont blame him. First is always memorable.

It not always the size that matters. Kids just love hunting.

I challenge each of you to take someone hunting.

Small deer = small targets. Great shot!!!!!

I took a disabled vet this year too. I really enjoyed it. The deer cooperated, but he missed - Twice.

Been there many times when they miss. I just say it happens.

That deer will taste plenty good, small is fine.

I take my 8 year old daughter with me....

Now I know two friends who took five years olds out this year and both got a deer. One was a guys granddaughter. I think it cool. I took a eight year old last year and he missed. He wasnt prepared to shoot a gun yet.

Great job, we got another one in the hunting tradition!

I can remember each one of my girls first hunt's
(there are 5 of them)now the youngest is 13 and she loves it!
they all started at the age of 9-10
