Deer Stands for big guys

I'm 6'7" 280+ and use the Summit Viper SS. Holds me just fine. Sometime have some knee clearence issues if you don't set the cable correctly but other than that, very comfortable. If you are having rear end clearence issues, Summit makes a Goliath SS model that is bigger.

I'm 6'2'' 250 lbs and got worried about stands and built one on top of a gravity or grain box, it is about 7-8 ft off the ground and is stable, but has to be moved with a truck or tractor. I'm getting older and at that weight if you fall the ground meets you a lot faster!

I have the Rivers edge rated for 350, I do not remember the name but once you are in the tree I feel very safe. It is pretty big and I had to make padded shoulder straps in order to carry it without loosing feeling in my hands but once you are up a tree I can lean and move very easily. Oh yeah I am 6' 1" 270.
