well i was planning on sitting overlooking a fresh cut cornfield, and the winds are south, but the fiels is at the south end of the property

ya mean blowin south.....gun huntin...you should be at the very south tip, blowin your wind off your property vs across it...you wanna be down wind.....you dont want the deer downwind from you basically..the best ya can do lol gl

I had the same situation last week for the opener of the Illinois shotgun season, I needed and got a west wind, instead of going to my ground blind from the main entrance I came in from the back end, snuck in quiet and early, I had the perfect set up
