I'm going to get to hunt this deer season with my Great Grandfathers rifle. It's a Winchester '94 32-40 that he got brand new for drilling a well for a guy in West Virginia in 1895. I actually have the original box of shells with it but I'm using some that I had made up for it. It shoots like a dream and I can't wait to see it used on a deer!

That is awesome. I have a Win '94 that my father gave me. It was his older brother's before that and his father's before that. I used it as a kid hunting in PA, but we can't use rifles (yet) in this part of NY, so I will be taking my son out with my muzzleloader Saturday. (A little better range than the shotgun.)

I have a Win 94 from the 50's that was my father's. My wife shot a deer with it back in NH. I'd love to take it out, but can't use it in IN where I live now.

Oh, BTW, mine is in 32 Win Special.
