It's a neat video, but did you read some of the idiot comments on that video. I got a kick out of the tree huggers that can't get closer than "half a mile" from deer to photograph them. Just goes to show how stupid these type of folks are about nature and wildlife. I've had a wild (ie NOT hand fed/baited) doe sniff my hair once (I was taking my usual mid-day siesta
), and I've shot several deer closer than 30 yards, including the deer I shot last Saturday. I've been within 50 yards of of dozens of deer, sometimes without even really trying. Maybe it's just the difference between a predator/prey mentality, or these folks are just as dumb as they sound.

Had a really nice but young 6point walk within 6yards of me yesterday after I climbed down from my treestand. I was in the process of swapping out my memory stick in my camera. I did have a leaf suit on and he did not spook until he got even with me and then he smelled me.

I had a pair of fawns at 4 yards last fall when I was sittin in my blind. had the gun barrel sticking out of the window and the one fawn walked up and touched it with his nose. Then the mother came closer and got a wiff and they took off. Was pretty amazing, never had anything even close to that before.
