Default Do YOU agree with my score?

I just measured this shed that was found last year by a friend of mine. The main beam is 25 inches long and the g2's and g3's are both 12 inches long. Circumference is at least 4 6/8 with the greatest being at 5 4/8. I scored it right at 80 inches even with the brow tine missing. I believe this deer had the potential to be a 170 class deer. Do you agree?

I didn't add up your measurements, but if you say the one shed was 80", then it was over a 170" because of the spread of the antlers that has to be factored in too.

25+12+12+4+4.5+5+=62.5?

plus a browtine? 8"?

plus spread..... say 10", half of 20" ok

look im jus guessin so dont beat me up...so thats 80.5X2 is 161?

That deer was easily over 170. Not sure about your math as to what the 4, 4.5 and 5 measurements are. But the OP did not include a G4 measurement which was at least six inches if not more and only gave 2 circ measurments.

So

25 MB
24 for G2G3
9 for G4
5 for a G1 (guess only)
19 for circm based on max of 5.5 and min of 4.5
8 inches for spread assuming a mediocore average total 16
Total side is 90 (with medicore scores for G1 and Spread)
Doubled gives that deer a score for last year of 180

I want that deer! I can hunt around where the shed was found. And no one shot a buck this big anywhere around there last year.
