A sharp stick has even less recoil! I was also thinking about bringing my sling-shot. If you pull the lead out of those .22 shorts, they make great sling ammo!!

What ya do is put a springloaded pumkin man hiddenin the brush and when the deer walks up it pops up and scares em to death!!!
