I am hunting this fall, and decided I want to carry the smallest lightest caliber gun I have. I'm recoil sensitive, and don't like noise. I don't care about any laws.
I think if I place my shots well, and keep in 25yds, I should be ok
taking deer. I realize, I might have to track some.
Should I use hollowpoint CB's? Or should I stick with solids?

Troll. You've gotta be kidding.
.22 short and don't care about game laws. Sheesh!
Recoil sensitive? Don't like noise? Shooting at 25 yards?
Try a bow and arrow.

LOL! Nice try. I was waiting for a post like this. In fact, straight up, you beat me to it.
I'll play along though...
Why not just use a .117 caliber pellet gun? They have some now that are over 1,000fps. I think if you let fly a well placed shot right at the heart at a close distance, like from a well blended ground blind, you can down 'em in less than 75 yards.

Back in the day (of stupidity) I would say YES it works. straight to the head or neck..... Dont do it... i know it doesnt matter to you at all but its 100% better to do it legal.... I am an ex road hunter/poacher EX I say yes when i was a teenager i did it and did it alot... i got caught and i payed for it.... im strictly by the book now.... ( well i did shoot a coyote from the road but hey there are exceptions) and i had written permission to hunt both sides of the road although that is still not legal.(im sorry) It is much more satisfying to sit in a stand and enjoy nature.... DONT DO IT!!!!
