Default Did I scare him off????

I decided to put out another corn feeder on our hunting lease since the deer have really been tearing up the one we have now.
I picked a spot we have been getting trail camera pictures of does, but no bucks yet. Right at the edge of a pasture that is bordered by a creek bottom.
So I get the tractor out, scrape a 30' by 30' square of pasture grass down to just dirt so the corn wont get lost in the thick grass. Got the feeder all set up working and was about to go home. Then I thought, "I haven't checked the game camera in a few days." I have one about 50 yards from the spot where I put the new feeder.
On my way to the camera, I found 4 or 5 fresh rubs and 2 fresh scrapes that WERE NOT there a few days ago.
I went into panic mode......Had I just invaded a nice bucks new territory? Things got even worse when I finally got to check the pictures. Sure enough, a VERY wide 8 point that I haven't seen all year posed for my camera a few times.
So, do ya'll think I've scared him off by putting that new feeder up? This is the best buck I've got on camera all year, and I'm scared that I might have pushed him out of his new area.
I was hoping the other feeder might pull in some more does and then the does pull in bucks since the rut is getting started here.
Gun season starts Nov. 7th.....guess I wont know for sure till' then.
You folks think I've scared him off????

Depends on how much he likes corn I guess. Keep the camera out there and check it in a week to ten days and see if he is still there. Other than being more nocturnal I don't think it will matter that much.
