Since the cars.com group began rating "most American" vehicles (I think 2004), the F150 was #1 every year until this year. It got bumped down to #2 by the Toyota Camry. The Tundra, I believe is #7 this year. Interestingly, according to the NHTSA, last year, both the F150 (mine is a 2008) and the Tundra both had 80% domestic parts content. This year, the Tundra is still at 80% and the F150 has fallen to 75%. So, I'm not sure how cars.com's ratings system works to keep the F150 ahead of the Tundra... According to the sticker in the window of mine, it was made at the Kansas City Plant, in Claycomo, MO.
