Default Acorn recipes

Hey guys, our acorns are already coming off the trees and i was wondering if any of yous had recipes that i could use to make with acorns.. This is for deer consumption.

I knew a guy that would grind a bunch of them and keep in the fridge. Then later in the season when most of the acorns were eaten he would scatter a couple handfuls around his stand. I am not sure about if this is considered baiting or not. Good luck.

Please check with your baiting laws, In some states thats illegal. You cant take a natural food source from one area to another, this is considered baiting even though its a natural resource.

Oh i wont use it to bait. i dont like to do that. but i'd like to place my deer cam over it.

That is the same as baiting..if youre removing it from one location to another or removing it from the woods, and then bring it back mixed with what ever, or even straight crushed acorns its still considered baiting or feeding, check your regs.
