thanks alot for your replies guys. much appreciated. sorry for the vague description but im sitting in the corner of two cornfields seperated by a thin treeline. I have been out the last couple nights as of late and i have seen a couple deer cross through a section of the woods to get from corn field to corn field. so i might try moving my tree stand about 20-30' into the woods and that should allow for a much better shot.

Another thing you can do is on a windy day when the corn is rattling and blowing the deer will bed in the corn,try slipping in and and see how closr you can get.Stay low and peek down the rows.
