Hhhmmm, check the reloading guide's specks for it and see for your self if it is gud enough fer deer huntin NOOB![8D]
Seriously though I tried under .30 cal. and it just didn't work out at all, According to the reloading guides the deer bullets are all in .30 in diameter so that tells you what cal. to be lookin for right there.

I havent hunted with it but I shot one at my friends house a few times and it is a nice gun,it has all the range i need with the knockdown I demand!

yea I have had mine for 2 years now and love it.. longest shot so far was 225yards and dropped the deer in tracks
