C: none of the above. It is a non-issue with me.

I use chain ons. Or the ones with the seatbelt type strap.

nub, with regards to that seatbelt strap, how do they wear outdoors? Reason I' m asking is I left my lock-on strapped to the tree last season, just loosened the strap a bit. I didn' t take it down because a squirrel chewed the excess part that was hanging and I wasn' t sure if I' d be able to tighten it down again with what remained, if I unfastened it. I' d hate to hop in next year only to have the strap break.

I' ve got 2 that have been in the woods since the fall of 01. I checked the condition of the strap real good before stepping on it, but I do that every time anyways. The squirrels around here seem more interested in my seat cushions than the strap. I really should take them out and go over them this spring. I' m sure the manufacturer frowns on leaving them out in the weather.

I use climbers more than anything, but the permanent stands with the right seats are nice.

nub, I took the seat cushion home. On mine its just a camoflagued piece a cloth overlaying a piece of foam and attached to a small piece of plywood. It was pretty easy to take the seat off and re-attach it.
