My first deer was a 149 5/8" 8 pointer, got him with an open sight 30-30.
My first archery deer was a 192 6/8" 18 pointer.
My first vehicle deer was about a 110" velvet buck.

Shot my first (doe) back in "52" 300 Savage That thing sure did kick my nose drew more blood from me than the deer. One of the ol guys walked up to me handed me a knife and said see ya at the car.
