p.s. i did not get the milo for deer, i got it for birdhabitat

RE: food plots
Bubba,
You have got enough ground to grow all of those seeds and maybe then some. I would say the clover is going to do you the most good as a deer magnet.
If there is a lot of corn and soybeans grown in your area, then yours wont make much difference until the neighboring fields have been harvested.
100lbs of corn will only plant about 5 or 6 acres. It sounds like you might have feed corn, if so you wont have a very good crop unless it is a open pollenated strain.
Soybeans are generally planted at 30 to 40lbs as a crop. But for a food plot I would plant 50 or 60lbs at least.
If the seed is old it might not germinate that well either.
Clover should be planted at 6 to 8lbs per acre
Milo is usually planted at 5-6lbs per acre
Hope this is of help, these are just my opinions. There is a couple guys on here that can give you advice based on their experiences.
Good Luck!!!
