Default RE: bow draw weight?

ORIGINAL: hunt91

in wisconsin we have a minimum deer hunting weight of 30#. i would be afraid that the arrow would bounce off of the deer....
I was with my brother last year when hegot his first deer with a bow. I think he was pulling 30-32lbs, somewhere in there, and shot a fawn at 16 yards with a complete pass through. Wow was he pumped.

Filmed my girlfriend this year killing her first deer ever and with a bow. She was pulling 37lbs I think and shot her doe at 18 yards slightly quarteredtowards. Had great penetration but smoked the off shoulder hard without exit but the huge doe only went 80 yards. Wow!!!! was she ever pumped.

All depends on distance and shot placement the lighter the lbs gets. 30 lbs is very affective but outside 20-25 yards I would say its not very ethical. WCL
