Default Time for shed hunting yet?

I usually go shed hunting too early in february. Have the bucks in your area dropped yet?

I was talking to a friend who has a farm in Wisconsin and he told me that he was watching deer in the fields every night and as they have been going he is watching 6 to 7 buck and now he is watching 3 to 4 bucks and usually he sees one with one side that he has seen yesterday with two sides..so yes they are starting and I am going to wait till next weekend before I go to make sure that all have dropped due to my mistakes last year where I kicked all of the deer out and never found a shed so yes they are dropping...
I CAN"T WAIT TO GET OUT OF THE HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All seriousness aside, I generally wait until the snow is gone, and the grasses,weeds,brush is knocked down.

I am sure the majority of them have shed by now. I usually find my sheds in March or April when the snow is gone. I always look hard when I'm turkey hunting.

Snow, what the hell is snow. Im headed to Kansas for a week of shed hunting on my ranches. Ill let you know what kind of luck we have. Its always better after they burn but we should find some. thank god for the ranger.

Me and my brother have already found 3 here in Ohio. Only one was fresh though.

I haven't seen any deer that look like they have shed their antlers and I haven't found any either.

here in southern wisconsin i have seen 4 bucks within the last 3 days with full head gear. i wait until snow melts and at least until march 10-15

Here in Central Wi. About half are lost, I put out game camera's and 1 has 5 bucks with there horns and the other has 2 with horns and about 7 without.
