I had hunted with a number of cheap scopes and about 4 years ago I had the extra money so I bought my dream scope, a Zeiss Diavari 3x12x56. It is a very bright and nice scope and all I could want in a scope, but if I were buying a new one to take its place for some unknown reason, I would probably not buy another one that expensive.

Excellent scope! I used to have one too, but it was a little too large and bulky for my hunting rifle. I would say it was the best light collecting scope that I have ever used.
