Dude,What would you wan't a hunter to say to you if you were the landowner. It's like picking up a girl tell him what you have to offer in return for perm.And i don't me the deliverance type of offer. be normal and considerate to him and his land and he will give perm.

Ask permission? Just go hunt and when the landowner eventually stops to talk to you, ask him then...

Always better to ask for forgiveness than permission.
Hmm. . .That seems to be the norm here in OH, but I know in MT, that will get you shot and buried in a shallow grave. YMMV. I would suggest that these poster's are just starting a flame, but I see it enough in OH to believe it is true.
