i cant wait till oct 1st

I have found my hot spot. Got my 2 bucks from the same stand. Just need to do a little trimming so that I can see a little further and make a couple better trails for them to use. I'll still set a few more stands and play the wind but I hope Sept 15th gets here quick.

I decided to start next year's deer season the day after this year's ended. I struggled this year; some of it was just plain bad luck but some of it was from inadequate preparation e.g. putting off making stand sites, not scouting a piece of land as thoroughly as possible, etc.

I decided that wasn't going to be the case next year. I went out and bought a county plat map and looked at some aerial photos. I've already discovered one prime looking piece of ground and it turns out that I know the owner

I have my opening day spot that is so awesome. Not just because of the ammount of deer but the people I hunt with. I only get to see them once a year and time with them is always special. My second spot is ok but becoming very populated as new homes are springing up around the area.

yep i find out were the big boys were after the season lol
so now i just haved to wait! and hope i play the right cards
