Were you standing up at the time? I found with ladder stands that I got busted everytime,when I was standing up. If I stay seated, then they never bust me.

Oh and watch those metal pieces. Any metal against metal sound will send a deer running, no matter how soft.

The stand is fine if you're being still, and using the wind correctly.

i was sitting in my stand. so you guys are 100% sure it is ok? and when can i move when i see a deer?

Move when they let their gaurd down, when they look the other way, when they're eating, etc..
