It looks pretty good to me. I would possibly look at putting up some camo material if you are gun hunting. Even if you are bow hunting it would help to cut a couple limbs (Ideally some oak limbs that may still have a couple leaves on it) and attatch them to your ladderstand coming out off the front of the stand. It only takes a couple days for the deer to get used to whatever you put up there and they will be back to normal...

would it be a good idea to lower my stand a little for more cover?

Looks good to me also. Just make sure your sitting really still and don't hunt that stand if the wind is blowing toward that feild or where the deer are coming from.

Looks like you need to level your stand, that should help your back. Stand height is ok, all ways make sure correct wind when hunting that stand. And I would try alittle more cover around if you can get some.

I have done everything from cutting 20 foot trees down and tying them to the tree and to my stand itself to conceal it a bit to actually using some old artificial christmas tree limbs and drilling a couple holes in my stand and putting them through. If need me take some brown spray paint and paint the limbs of the christmas tree to make them alittle more brown looking for late season but at the same time it adds just enough cover to help.
