Bad end to the season
Son came back in and say's would you help me, just shot one.
Found it no problem,he made a good shot.
It ended up being a buck that dropped it's horns already. Someone had shot on the butt with a broadhead from the way the wound looked. Meat is unedible, so the coyotes will be getting a meal a little sooner then they would have if he didn't shoot it today.

did the same thing 2 years ago,the wound was in the front shoulder, it looked as if the whole side of the deer was caved-in, i shot it thinking it was a wounded doe it turned out to be a very big bodied buck minus his antlers. after skinning i determined that there is no way that this deer would have made it.
