Shoot alot of 22lr. Forthe price of a box of 20 centerfire ammo, you can get 500 shots with the 22.Practice with it up to 100 yds in FIELD POSITIONS(off a fence post, sitting, slung, twisted up out of a tree stand shooting at a target behind you). I always shot great at the range, but was horrible in the field untill I figured out how to shoot in thereal world. Save your centerfire ammo for practicing your longer shots, and checking zero.

And try to see where the bullet hits through the scope. Sometimes you dont see the impact, but try anyway. It will make you a better shot.
