I'm sad, it's over....
My hunting season is anyway. I was cleaning my rifle after hunting last weekend and I put the scope caps on it and put it in my gun safe. Just then, I had an incredibly sad feeling that I'm not going to handle my rifle for at least another 10 months 
. I get this every year but it was especially bad this year. Can't wait until the wife is out of school and working and the kids are a little older so that I can get out to the field a little more. Such is life......

MO rifle season is from Nov 15th until Nov 22nd this year. So far I only hunt deer in MO because my family owns private land there but next year I'm probably going to bite the bullet and start deer hunting on public land in KS as well.

wow...I can't imagine a season that short. I feel for you man. I bowhunt as well as rifle hunt, here in GA I start hunting during the middle of September and it don't end til mid January.
