I'm sad, it's over....
 

My hunting season is anyway. I was cleaning my rifle after hunting last weekend and I put the scope caps on it and put it in my gun safe. Just then, I had an incredibly sad feeling that I'm not going to handle my rifle for at least another 10 months :(. I get this every year but it was especially bad this year. Can't wait until the wife is out of school and working and the kids are a little older so that I can get out to the field a little more. Such is life......

Your rifle season is over? Alabama rifles season just started today and will continue until Jan. 31.

MO rifle season is from Nov 15th until Nov 23rd this year. So far I only hunt deer in MO because my family owns private land there but next year I'm probably going to bite the bullet and start deer hunting on public land in KS as well.

you should bowhuntt you will see more deer. i hate ending the season with nothing too. its happened to me for the past 3 years i hope tyhis year is differnt

I don't hunt muzzleloader (yet). Next year is going to be different, I'm hunting Kansas with bow and rifle in addition to MO rifle season. It WILL be different....

wow...I can't imagine a season that short. I feel for you man. I bowhunt as well as rifle hunt, here in GA I start hunting during the middle of September and it don't end til mid January.

Try to get into bowhunting. The season is way longer in most states and i think it is way more fun killing a deer with a bow.
