Some coworkers of mine spotted a group of bucks (at least 4) and another "little deer" hanging out in the middle of a cattail marsh close by my house yesterday. They said the deer didn't appear to be traveling in one direction or another. Just hanging out in the middle of the swamp. Now supposedly we're in the middle of rut here in the Northeast. So bucks hanging out together sounds very weird to me. Comments anyone?

I've never heard of that before hope somebody has some input on this subject I'd like to see if anyone knows the deal with it.

Could have been a bigger buck bedded with a doe in there and the others were hanging around to see what happened.
