Thats pretty wild. Its a heck of a lot easier to find deer than those things....

Thats a really nice QUARTZ arrowhead. I found some like that in Arkansas. Those Indians had a hard time working that quartz because its hard to work with. Congrats! =] Ive probably had a couple hundred arrowheads in my lifetime, I like hunting them. I found a flint drill in a ditch where I hunt. It was 4 inches long. :P

My grandmother lives in Franklin NC on the original property she grew up on in the early 1900's. She does a lot of gardening and where her garden is must have been where a tribe lived. She has found more arrow heads and other artifacts than you can shake a stick at. Every time I visit her I leave with a little ziplock bag with half a dozen arrow heads. Still very cool.

My great-grandaddys farm near Bunn Level was loaded with them. My dad said when he was a kid they'd find them after plowing the fields. After a good rain, it looked like they were sitting on golf tees.
