finally some pics...whitetailfanatic, i dont think i would want to take that shiny scope out in the woods. I would think the sun would reflect off of it and the deer would see you...

I have a Remington Gamemaster 700 30.06 pump with a Bushnell Trophy scope. A hand me down from my 84 year old Grandpa. He called last nightto ask about the hunting here and said he got a doe with his crossbow the other day and that he can't wait to get out this morning to try for another before his season closes. He's called his last 10 deer his "last deer".

My custom 1909 Argentine Mauser in 30-06 has been my "go-to" gun for the last 3 years. It is a good accurate rifle...I shot a red fox at a confirmed 479 yards last year with it. If I am going "long range" I take my Remington 700 in .300 RUM...
But if I am going to be hunting the thick stuff I take my Winchester 1894 in 30wcf.

I don't have it yet, but it will be a Remington 700 SPS 30-06 with a Nikon Buckmaster Scope.

it now has a B&C Medalist stock but I don't have a photograph of it that is the right size.

This is my newest rifle, it's a Ruger M77VT in 25-06 and it is also my favorite now...

These are the rest of my scoped rifles, all Ruger with the exception of one Remington....

Just get a camo cover for it. My rifle is all black but for deer seasonI put a cloth camo sleeve over the barrel, a neoprenecover on the scope and a neoprene cover on the stock that has some ammo loops.

My all around gun isa Browning A-Bolt Stainless Stalker in 7mm Rem Mag topped with a Nikon Monarch 4-12X 44mm scope with the BDC rectile.

Here it is with the 7 1/2+ year old buck that I shot this past Sunday evening.

It also does double duty as an elk rifle. (You can barely see it at the bottom of the picture)

It also gets used on antelope. It has the stoney point rapid bi-pod on it in this picture. I really like those.

It can handle coyotes as well. This one was 251 yards and moving.

And it has actually killed more pigs than any other animal. Here is a picture of it with it's first kills last year before it had any accessories.

I bought it as an all purpose hunting rifle, I guess it seems to be living up to it's reputation!
