Santa Clause came early

Michigans firearm season opens on November 15. I normally use my CVA Optima but have always wanted a nice rifle. Well, my girlfriend wished me an early Merry Christmas today with a Winchester Model 70 (.270). She figured I'd better get it now so I can sight in before the 15th, that way I dont have to wait a whole year to shoot it. Havent shot it yet, but so far I love the gun. Nice looking, light weight. Anyone else ever shoot a Model 70? Thanks.

I would post a picture, but I could fly a 747 before I could ever figure out how to take a pic and transfer it onto this board haha.

I have a model 70 270 and i love it so far other then my 7mm mag i have not found a gun that seems to get the job done without ruining any meat. It has a smooth action and mine has a quite safety. Hopefully you get a nice buck with it this year, because you will fall in love with the gun. Just don't skimp on the scope if you are getting one, i would suggest a leupold VX-III.
