What Hunting magazines would you recommend?

I also am favorable to Farming For Wildlife. It is geared more towards the land management aspect than actual hunting. I have an active subscription to these three:
North American Wildlife
Quality Whitetails
Farming for Wildlife
Can't beat 'em.

Don't sell yourself short! There is a lot of good information that can be obtained from periodicals.
And if you have a hard time reading...most of them have real nice pictures.

Another vote for Quality Whitetails Magazine, the publication of the Quality Deer Management Association. If you own the land you hunt on or have any ability to make improvements on that land it is well worth the price of joining the organization. Lots of scientific study information on deer biology as well like vision, hearing, scents, diseases, antler growth, etc. There are a few articles on actually hunting deer, but most are geared toward habitat improvement and developing a healthier deer population.

Most are just like the TV shows today. Most of the articles are nothing but deer shot out of treestands over manacured food plots and the rest is the same old information that they have been printing for decades. The other half of the pages are product ads.
The product reviews are never anything more than what the manufacturer claims on their web sites or print. I have never read a product review that had anything bad to say about any product tested. There isn't an honest account of anything they "test".
Very fewof them have articles that are even worth the paper they are printed on.
Like someone else said.... They are good crapper reading and that's about it.
