How to Get Comfortable in a Pine Tree w/o a Stand

RE: How to Get Comfortable in a Pine Tree w/o a Stand
I do have one. I lack suitable trees on this particular tract of land--where the deer sign is.
also, I would think that an inexpensive lock on would be able to fit into nearly any kind of pine tree.

I don't know what kind of pine it is other than that it has long needles and the branches are thick from top to bottom. There isn't much foliage in the center 2/3--just the outside edges. There's not enough room in it to hang in a saddle (though that idea has potential with some modification). Nor is the tree thick enough at the top area where I'll be to mount a stand. It's safe enough--I first climbed it in a windy situation and it was quite stable--probably because of how the two trees have grown together.
I think I may just have to safety harness myself in and sit on a cushion straddling a branch and hope for the best.
