RE: Primos Blood Tracker Light
I don't know about the Primos light, but I can give you a first hand account on the Gerber Carnivor. DON'T buy it.Here is the first hand account. I shot a buck and had a great blood trail and found the deer within 100 yards. It got dark and I thought "Hey what a good chance to see if this light works" Going back over the trail with the " blood tracking light on, it did NOT make the blood show up any better. A good white light flashlight worked just as well.
Good luck hunting.

The Primos blood trailing light......DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY...spend the money on a good WHITE LED light or something along those lines..My buddy bought one and it was ok but might Surerfire brought out the blood better then it...it dies rather quick so if you have to track a deer for more then 300 yrds your SOL, and it gets hott as hell like 30min after tracking...IMO its not all its cracked up to be..get a good white lighted flashlight..my 2 cents

Don't know about the Primos one also, but did by an LED light 2 yrs ago that has the blue "blood tracking: lense.
Got to use it for the first time last yr helping a buddy trail a doe he shot with blackpowder.
I say its 50/50 while the blood is fresh and still wet it helped switching back and forth from the blue to the white in spotting small drops ofblood on the leaves.
A few weeks later got to use it again as it started to sprinkle rain. The blue lense made it worse to see blood as every rain drop looked the same as blood.
I say to either buy a good bright white LED or get some CSI spray they use on crime scenes with a black light to make the blood glow.
